Windsor Terrace

Why Windsor Terrace?

Windsor Terrace is a charming neighborhood tucked southeast of Park Slope, hugging the southern end of Prospect Park. Its tree-lined streets of Victorian and Edwardian rowhouses give it a small-town feel within the city. Once Vanderbilt-owned farmland with a late-19th-century population of just thirty people, it has become a quieter alternative for Park Slope buyers seeking relief from the bustle. The trolleys and Prospect Park stables are mostly gone, though Kensington Stables still offers riding lessons through Prospect Park. Today, low inventory and strong demand have pushed property values up, and the neighborhood's tight-knit community, easy F/G train access, and strong independent shops make it a great place to call home.

Nitehawk Cinema is an amazing dine-in theater that offers not only a large selection of film screenings, but an incredible food & cocktail program. In fact, it set a historical precedent when it single-handedly overturned of the prohibition-era New York State liquor law that made serving alcohol in motion picture theaters illegal! These days the theater makes for a great outing for families & friends alike. Must visit.

Established nearly a century ago in Windsor Terrace, Farrell’s Bar & Grille is one of Brooklyn’s oldest and most beloved no-frills bars. It has a cult-like following and has remained practically unchanged since it opened in 1933. There’s even been a documentary about it entitled, ““Why Farrell’s?” which was just featured on NY1
