Ridgewood

Why Ridgewood

Until just a few years ago, Ridgewood was a quiet, residential neighborhood in Queens comprised of barrel-fronted townhomes and low-rises. With the rapid development of Bushwick nearby, many small-business owners northeast to Ridgewood searching for greener pastures. Now this trendy neighborhood has started making waves. Avenues closest to Bushwick (Myrtle, Seneca, and Cypress) are filled with new restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Of course, we must also mention the late-night spots cropping up between the old warehouses. On the real estate front, humble townhomes are being upgraded and several larger development sites are breaking ground. Ridgewood real estate is closely following Bushwick's. Our opinion: get in while you can!

Where is Ridgewood?

Ridgewood is northeast of Bushwick and flanked by East Williamsburg and Glendale. You can get there easily on the L and M trains, or pop down from Maspeth.
